Richard M. Williams, DDS

Advanced oral and maxillofacial surgical skill is founded on a quality education

Richard M. Williams, DDS - Germantown MD, Washington DC“Dentistry is a long-standing tradition in my family, but oral surgery was always a draw to me because of the potential to make a big difference for people with serious, complex needs. From the beginning, I knew that in order to offer the very best care to my patients, I’d have to work hard at getting a quality education. I feel that in addition to my DDS degree, the extensive advanced training I’ve received has given me an excellent foundation of skills and knowledge. Today, I believe that the results I achieve for patients speak to the value of this additional training. It’s definitely been worth the extra time and effort.”

“I believe that spending time with my patients before they undergo their treatment is a vital part of quality care. First, I want you to become comfortable with my staff and me, and to then fully understand what kind of treatment you need and why. I also need to make sure I understand your concerns. I want to know if you’re anxious and why, what your pain threshold is and how you’ve responded in the past to dental work. Together, we’ll figure out exactly how to make your experience here as comfortable and pain-free as possible. Only then can I give you the completely positive experience I believe you deserve.”
